    Fabulous

Friendly staff. Room was clean, bed was comfy. Very good price as well. I also had a meal there, which was fantastic. Beautiful meat and big portions.

It's not the hotels fault, it's satellite navigations fault, it tries to take you down a road which is a pedestrian area. My advice would be head for asda, as it is just behind the hotel.

    The vintage look at reception.

Thin walls, loud doors and basic bathroom.

    Exceptional

Breakfast - warm dish cooked when you wanted it.Excellent.

The bed was to stiff/hard for me. But a blanket made it more comfortable. You hace spaces for some shelves - that would be good to put things on and I could have used more hooks!

The hotel is extremely tired. The bathrooms very basic with showers that barely work. The toilets in the rooms are very noisy and the lighting very poor. We purely stayed for the location, as we have a daughter at Rugby school and would, otherwise never choose to stay there. The rooms are sparsely decorated and the hotel opposite a nightclub, which was still going strong till the early hours. There is no double glazing and so it was very noisy. We stayed on a Friday night and couldn't get a cooked breakfast in the morning as they don't serve till after 8.30, which is ridiculous.

We didn't like the location streer cleaners out at 6am too much noise from pub turnouts. We believed that the hotel needed a facelift

    Great location and clean rooms

They need to invest in blackout curtains!!! Ridiculous - first floor room facing a street lamp - I could have read in bed at 2am with the amount of light coming through. Also there was no warning about the amount of noise from a bar opposite - throwing out time is 2.30am and they clearly haven't invested in sound proofing - definately ask for a room not facing the street.

    Very good

The food was lovely and service was great

The room carpet was dirty however after having a shower in the morning it was easy to see why. We stayed in room 1 and the street noise outside was very loud therefore we didnt have a great sleep

    Very good

The beds were comfortable and it was quiet.

Stayed for two nights and room was not made up after first night. Also when I checked my booking after I got home I found I had been overcharged by £10.

    Superb

Excellent location; cheap and cheerful; friendly and helpful staff; good bar and excellent dining room/meals; excellent cooked breakfast; clean and tidy room of adequate size; toiletries provided.

There should be shelves for toiletries in shower and above wash basin. A room safe would be a bonus. The lack of car parking could be a minus point (but I did not have a car).
